We were lucky enough to have our ‘Love Party’ wedding reception at Social Dining by Verandah Bar and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to hold our event at this venue. From the very start, Emily and the team (a special mention also to Katie and Saskia) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. The space and décor are beautiful and the layout of the venue allowed us to comfortably fit a photo booth and the musician whilst guests could still sit down, stand or dance. The musician even commented that it was his favourite reception venue so far! The canapes and drinks were absolutely delicious and Social catered perfectly for everyone’s dietary needs. The guests are still making endless comments about the fantastic venue, the friendly staff and the quality of the food. We cannot speak highly enough about Social and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect area to hold any type of event. Thank you Social Dining for making our special day absolutely perfect!

Our engagement party was one to remember. We loved the clever use of space and beautiful decor. The staff were awesome and they were just amazing at making the event flow so smoothly. This meant we could just enjoy ourselves and know everything would run without any dramas. We and our guests had a fabulous time. Thank you so much!

Such a great venue, and with a relaxed vibe. Stuart was AMAZING.....calm, organised and a great sense of humour to boot. He really made it possible for us to just relax and simply enjoy the day. Synna (apologies if spelling is wrong!) was brilliant- on top of all the food and drink service; unobtrusive, yet very good at ensuring glasses were never empty. 😊 Such wonderful, professional staff. The party made use of the Public tables afterwards, and the bar staff were excellent as well. We all had such a fun day knowing everything was being taken care of, and for that, I thank you a million times. Please pass on our thanks to everyone

Last night was amazing as always. The gals working our event were absolutely divine and nothing was too much bother. Food was delish and the boss was super happy with the whole thing.

Your catering is so fabulous and such a reasonable, achievable cost - great variety. We had a charcuterie and cheese station and it was just spectacular.

The food and venue was great, the server assigned to us was very good and she was very helpful and attentive. It was the best service that we had to all the restaurants that I have been to.

The feedback I’ve received has all been great! Everyone had a great time and loved the venue and food and said that the drinks were flowing. Thanks so much for organising it and executing it so well. I will be sure to keep you in mind for any future events both workwise and personal.

Thank you Sas, Katie and your team. The WBF and WLA of NSW thank you for yet again for another awesome event. This is our 3rd this year at Social. You have helped us shake off the Covid Blues in style and with panache. You are our forever ‘Go to’ Social event venue. We WILL be back.

We were fortunate to be the first event held at Verandah Public last year. It was booked for my partner’s surprise 30th with over 50 people. The Marketing and Event Manager, Saskia, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She did an amazing job in organising everything based on my needs and wants. Also want to say thank you to the amazing team during the night of the event with their hospitality and ensuring that the event went smoothly. All team members were friendly and were able to attend to any queries/issues promptly. Definitely highly recommend! Thank you again to the wonderful team for a successful night!
