Social at Verandah’s 3 course lunch has been selected and hand crafted by our talented chefs, paired with complementing wines to showcase Australian produce.
Get started with BBQ split king prawns for entrée, cooked with oregano, garlic, chili, lemon and parsley. Grilled to perfection in Australian olive oil and herbs. Savour the flavour with the Rob Dolan White Label Pinot Gris, from Yarra Valley, Victoria.
For main, enjoy Ox tail ragu, house made pappardelle pasta with grana Padano. The oxtail is slow cooked until it falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. Paired with Parker Coonawarra Estate Cabernet, hailing from South Australia.
We haven’t forgot about those of us with a sweet tooth! Indulge in burnt basque cheesecake. Made using cream cheese, fresh cream, eggs, sugar and flour, this beauty is baked until just set and served room temperature with Australian grown strawberries that have been macerated in their own syrup. Perfectly paired with Torbrek Sticky, Barossa Valley South Australia.
